Possession of confetti in the city of Mobile may get you arrested
I guess the city of Mobile has very little to celebrate since the possession, use, storage, manufacture, or any other means of handling confetti is illegal. So… if you are planning a big wedding and intend to use confetti in your wedding, be ready to spend your honeymoon in the county jail.
Sec. 39-77. Use, sale, etc., of confetti. It shall be unlawful and an offense against the city for any person to have in possession, keep, store, use, manufacture, sell, offer for sale, give away or handle any confetti or other substance or matters similar thereto, but not serpentine, within the city or within its police jurisdiction. (Code 1965, § 41-3)
