Sec. 14-6. Ballplaying.
It shall be unlawful for any person to play ball by throwing, catching, pitching or batting a ball on any public street, alley or sidewalk of the city.

Interesting that the title of this page is “illegal to play catch with your son” when the law says “any person”. ’cause until I read what was quoted I was going to ask “what about your daughter”–figured maybe that’d be the loophole. Alas, it is not. So, no putting a dress on young Billy and pretending he’s a girl.
