Dancing in the early morning is illegal
In Des Moines, it’s illegal to dance between the hours of 2 A.M. and 6 A.M. – The law dates back to at least the 1940′s and just doesn’t really fit in today’s society. There is currently a movement within to city to have the law changed. Hopefully soon if you are in the mood for a little waltzing in the early hours of the morning, you will be able to goto a club to shake your booty!

It is also illegal in Des Moines to operate a motor vehicls. it is illegal for 3 or more buffalo hunters to congregate on a street corner, and all horses used for horse drawn buggies must wear diapers…. Yea Iowa…
