Topless women aren’t allowed to go in public for business purposes

Topless women are allowed to walk and run in public only if they’re not advertising for the local car dealership.

  • Not totally true!

The idea behind the law (circa 1994?) is equality, meaning that a female may go without a top in any location that a male would be allowed. (beach, swimming, jogging, etc) The exception is about advertising or special purpose for hire. IOW, a strip joint may not hire gals for “free samples” out on the sidewalk. It also means that one can’t run a topless car wash or landscape service where the gals get paid extra for working in that form of dress. OTOH, if it’s a hot day and all of the employees (male and female) decide to work sans shirt, that is ok. (equal rights)

  • I am a guy, and most of my friends are female… few of them are shy… there comes a point of “seen one set – seen them all”…. so I say what’s the big deal, we have shirtless muscle bound brutes of guys advertise things that we want women to buy, so if some woman wants to take of her shirt and try to sell me a car let her try.
