If an indian can exersize his rights from 1837, and it is ok. Why is the law to shoot them if they are off the reservation, or in this case horse back Stupid?
Things were different then and this was needed. I am sick of indians looking for special rights for teaties from the 1800′s. May be us non indians should be exercising our treaty rights to shoot them for being off the reservation. Yes that is not PC or even what direction we should be going in,but according to the treaties we have the right. these special rights are not correct either. We should have equal rights, we are all americans here. lets start treating each other with respect and not see who can get away with the most. And stop trying to make it the way it was, or you may get the bad with the good.

I think it is sad that this law wasn’t taken off the books a long time ago.. And I find some of your comments here even sadder. Is humanity so hard to come by these days? When did we lose site of the value of a human life? Regardless of race, creed, etc. we are all human.. I guess I just don’t find the humor in this law. In fact it breaks my heart.

Hey guys the indian ancestors as you call them (it would be rather native american) are on this land before your ancestor. If we follow the logic, it’s rather them who should kick your ass away of there land.
