It’s illegal to have a pig in Miami Beach
Sec. 10-7. Keeping swine within city prohibited. It shall be prohibited for any person to have in his possession, control, management or custody any swine within the city. (Code 1964, § 4-6.8)
Related Stupid Laws, Crazy Laws, and just plain Stupid Laws:
- No pigs allowed at wakes!
- Pregnant pigs must roam free by constitutional decree.
- Farmers are allowed to sleep with their cows, horses, goats, pigs and chickens.
- Your pet goat may not graze on city grass
- Animal cruelty allowed for police officers

Have you ever been to Miami Beach? There are enough two legged ones roaming the streets without having to deal with the four legged variety. BTW, have you ever been down wind of a pig pen in the summer heat?
