But i suppose its ok for your dog to tow you on the bike…

No operator of a bicycle shall tow or draw any coaster, sled, person on roller skates, wagon, toy vehicle or other similar vehicle on any public road, sidewalk or public place.

Yes but what about those of us who are long distance cyclists who employ a cycle trailer?
The law does not descriminate between idiots and people who use equipment designed for a legitimate purpose. AND the idea that law enforcement officials can be reasonable when writing citations is absolutely insane.
There is way too much room in this ordinance for abusive cops…
