Illegal to drive in a parade
Unauthorized cars are prohibited from driving in a parade.
Sec. 142-783. Driving through parades. No driver of a vehicle except a police car or other authorized emergency vehicle shall drive between the vehicles or persons comprising a parade when such vehicles or persons are in motion and are conspicuously designated as a parade. (Code 1981, § 43-756)

Well that would really stink. When I visited Kansas for St. Patricks day there were tons of people driving around. . .even police haha. I guess that law has been lifted!!

Well, so if you think about it. You can’t actually drive in the parade on the parade route. You have to be registered to be part of the parade. Driving around it or to it is completely different.
