Actually, it is a law, and kind of a dumb one at that. Clearly it’s just not enforced. And besides that, it’s an old law.

I’m not going to debate if this is or is not a law, but if it is in deed, as many of you suggest and claim to have researched, then why not post the ordinance / statute / section number and text. A search for “black” on the Denver’s code of ordinances online revealed nothing of the sort.
