What’s stupid about this? If you steal an animal that’s worth $1,000 on up, you deserve to be shot or hung for it and it’s still very legal to shoot cattle rustlers down here.

OMG in texas you can get shoot or hung for stealing,sure its wrong to steal but the cops should put you in jail and not let the hillbillie cowboys shoot you.

Why it is do is not that the cow is worth more than a human lif it is that it is so hard to catch someone stealing your cattle that it would be hard to get them the first time make it a very easy to make money if it wasn’t for the threat of death, also you don’t have to kill them it was up to the owner’s desecration and they usually didn’t for for first offenders, just using the law to scare them to never try it again.

For Hill: Selling my cows puts food in my kids bellies and clothes on their back. Loosing even one would put a strain on a family. So again ask me who’s life is worth more! The electric chair is what a cattle rustler wishes for if found on my property!
