Baseball permit required before playing
This law requires you to obtain permission from the village board of trustees before you play on the lit fields.
7-2-3: LIGHTED ATHLETIC FIELDS:A. Permit Required: With exception given to the tennis courts located at the village hall park, any person or group of persons wishing to use a lighted athletic field for evening recreational use shall first apply to the public works director and obtain permission from the village board of trustees.

this is not a stupid law. most places require permits for play or practice on most athletic fields you just don’t realize it.
