Appearantly incest is legal in Alabama and you can marry your own family member. Anyone have a hot sister, brother, or cousin that you “love”???? Believe it or not thousands of people are searching for ways to marry their family members each month!

Section 30-1-3 – Issue of incestuous marriages not deemed illegitimate.
The issue of any incestuous marriage, before the same is annulled, shall not be deemed illegitimate.

A Texas law maker recently propsed a law that would make it illegal for a parent to miss a parent-teacher conference. This is “Criminalizing bad behavior has become the rage among politicians, who view such action as a type of legislative exclamation point demonstrating the seriousness of their cause. As a result, new crimes are proliferating at an alarming rate, and we risk becoming a nation of criminals where carelessness or even rudeness is enough to secure a criminal record. ”

On top of being a confetti free city, the city officials in Mobile feels that it is important enough to make ANOTHER stupid law prohibiting the possession or use of “spray string” (which technicallys qualify as a confetti anyway)

Sec. 39-15. “Spray string,” “snap pops,” or similar matter or substances thereto prohibited. It shall be unlawful and an offense against the city for any person to have in his/her possession, keep, store, use, manufacture, sell, offer for sale, give away or handle any “spray string,” “snap pops,” or other matter or substances similar thereto, within the city within its police jurisdiction.
