    • This law came about when a lady mormon legislator heard about dildos and said that they had no purpose other than to molest children. A number of people offered to show her another way to use them.

The 6 limit is to prevent stores from stocking them for sale. This law is clearly unconstitutional.

    • belemorte said-”why the hell would someone need to own six or more dildos?”

Why would anyone need six or more guns? Yet they’re legal.

      Dildos not guns!!!!!!!

Actually there are way more than 6 dildos in the Texas State government. In fact they would have to import non-dildos just to convene the legislature.

    • Actually, the Texas Obscenity Statue was struck down 2 years ago, and the Appelate Court has upheld its ruling. I haven’t seen a huge dent in the adult novelty industry in my area, though. People are still a little scared from the regular police raids on adult stores every election year in Beaumont. It always made the news.

Why are they allowed to be sold here if we can’t have em? These must be a bunch of old tight-ass Baptists that passed this law…. ;-)

    • This law was intended for the independant sales representative of the suprise party ladies and candlelight parties. Apparentley a cop with high authority was sitting on his high horse that day when he pulled one of these workers over and was deeply offended when he searched her car…… gotta love the “bible belt” area
